Richard is an Australian citizen and a Singapore permanent resident. He has been living and working in Singapore since 1980. He holds a British Master's Class 1 certificate.
During his seagoing career he sailed on a variety of dry-cargo vessels including general cargo, liner, passenger, bulk and container ships. He has extensive experience with sensitive cargoes (mineral sands, grains etc. from Australia & fertilizers to Australia) and is frequently called to assist owners and charterers when vessels are scheduled to call at Australia even now.
Richard served as a Managing Director since the company's inception thirty years ago and spearheaded company's growth into one of the world's leading surveying firm located in Singapore being a premier global maritime hub.
Richard has transitioned to "Managing Director Emeritus" position and remain as a "Non-Executive Director" in a senior advisory role for Maritime Claims & Services Pte Ltd (MCS).
Richard is one of thepioneer inspects for bulk carriers vettings inspections. He is also an approved surveyor for the Pananma Authorities.
As a veteran in the maritime industry and a pioneer in bulk carrier vetting inspections, he leverages decades of practical and commercial experience to act as a trusted problem solver, bridging the gap between technical compliance and operational excellence.

Stanley is a former Chief Engineer with 10 years seagoing experience from Junior Engineer to Chief Engineer on Bulk Carriers, Oil Tankers and Container Carriers.
After being invited ashore he has had 27 years of experience in the marine sector. This included Class Surveyor in India, Technical Superintendent and Fleet Head (Technical) and Project Head (Technical) in Hong Kong and Singapore for more than 8 years.
For the past 19 years he has been a Marine Consultant for a variety of large owners and groups. Assignments included new-building and repair projects in Shipyards, Hull & Machinery and P&I matters including collision & machinery damage investigations, surveys and condition surveys, pre-purchase condition surveys, Bunker disputes and quantity surveys, Vessel underperformance surveys, Vetting inspection of Bulk carriers for RIGHTSHIP and Offshore vessels for IMCA, Pre-vetting inspection of Oil tankers, Audits such as ISM, ISPS & MLC, Flag inspections, Condition surveys for Banks, Independent Technical Advisor for Commercial operators and Ship owners, and Expert Witness during arbitration hearings in the SIAC.
He is a qualified ISM Lead Auditor, an accredited Vetting Inspector for RIGHTSHIP, an accredited Offshore Vessel Inspector for IMCA/CMID and also a non-exclusive Surveyor for DNV.
As a seasoned leader, Stanley blends a robust technical background as a Chief Engineer with sharp business acumen. His career is defined by taking a hands-on approach to maritime operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and commercial success.
Captain Zulkhaili Alias

Captain Alias is a Malaysian Citizen with 18 years seagoing experience on Bulk Carriers and Container vessels. He holds a Masters (F.G) Certificate of Competency and sailed as Master on 3rd Generation to 6th Generation Ultra large Container vessels. He has substantial knowledge and experience in port operations and management and worked as Assistance General Manager, Operations, in a large port in Malaysia port during the COVID 19 Period.
Capt. Alias is a qualified ISM Auditor and conducts ISM/ISPS/MLC audits on behalf of vessel Owners. He carries out Full Condition surveys, Pre-purchase, P&I Entry, Cargo and Vessel Damage surveys. He also carries our Pre-AMSA / M0-32, pre-PSC Inspections for world-wide trading and cargo hold inspections for vessels schedule to load sensitive cargoes, including grains and minerals.
He is a qualified ISO Lead Auditor and carries out DOC, ISM, and ISPS audits. He is also an Accredited Vetting Inspector for RIGHTSHIP.
Captain Amjad Ahmed

Captain Amjad Ahmed is a Singapore Citizen with 9 years of seagoing experience on Bulk Carriers, Log Carriers and Container vessels. He holds a Masters (F.G) Certificate of Competency issued by MPA Singapore and sailed in New Zealand Logs trade. During his stint at sea, he has extensive experience of loading various cargoes such as grains (Australia, Brazil and USA), mineral sands, soda ash, alumina and logs etc.
In between vessel's assignment, he has worked ashore as Assistant Marine Superintendent and actively engaged in renew of SMS manuals, DOC renewal, ISM/ISPS/MLC audits. He was selected to take delivery of newbuild Kamsarmax bulk carrier as a senior officer in China.

Captain Phyo Thet Aung is a Myanmar national and a Singapore Resident with 11 years of seagoing experience on Container Ships, Bulk Carriers, Wood Chips Carriers, and General Cargo Vessels. He holds a Masters (F.G.) Certificate of Competency issued by the Department of Marine Administration (DMA), Myanmar, and sailed as Master on Dry Cargo / Container Vessels engaged in Far East and Southeast Asia trade, with an education background of Physics as Major from East Yangon University, Myanmar.
During his tenure at sea, Capt. Phyo Aung has been honoured with a Certificate of Achievement at the Sapphire Awards in 2022 and was recognized as the 2nd Place Winner at the Neptune Awards in 2024 presented by "ONE" Charterers. His leadership has been proven by leading the vessel under his command to achieve various international honour and recognition in regards to high level standard of safety and operational efficiency within the industry.

Captain Shanmugam Chettiar is a Singapore Citizen with 12 years of seagoing experience on Bulk Carriers, Log Carriers and Container vessels. He holds a Masters (F.G) Certificate of Competency issued by MPA Singapore and sailed as Master on various Dry Cargo vessels.
Extensive shore experience of 38+ years in maritime operations and performance management including, expert handling of P&I and H&M cases.
Solid dry bulk experience in sailing/managing geared bulk carriers Proven experience in conducting audits and root-cause investigations. Arrange internal/external shipboard audits and inspections.
Good knowledge of IMO Regulations, Marine Industry standards (HSSEQ, SOLAS, ISM, MARPOL etc.,). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & fluent in English.
Well-versed in all aspects of ISM code and ISM Auditing. Acted as Expert witness in several P&I and H&M arbitration/litigation cases.
Currently serving as a Senior Marine Consultant and mentor for young and budding marine surveyors.
Er. Mohd Abul Kalam Bhuiyan

Kalam Bhuiyan is a Singapore Citizen with 20 years of seagoing experience on Oil Tankers, Bulk Carriers, General Cargo Vessels and Container Carriers. He holds a Chief Engineers, Class 1 (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by the Government of United Kingdom and sailed as Chief Engineer on various types of Cargo vessels.
Extensive shore experience of 24+ years in maritime operations and performance management including, P&I and H&M surveys.
Possess extensive experience as a Marine Engineer Surveyor handling varieties of assignments such as pre-purchase surveys, condition surveys, hull and machinery damage surveys and internal shipboard audits and pre-port state control inspections.
Good knowledge of IMO Regulations, Marine Industry standards (SOLAS, ISM, MARPOL etc.,). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with fluent English.
Currently serving as a Senior Marine Consultant and Associate Engineer Surveyor with Maritime Claims & Services handling P&I and H&M cases.
